Thailand's Criminal Court sentenced an Internet user to 10 years in jail for posting material on the web that was found insulting to the royal family. Suvicha Thakhor, a 34-year old man, must go to prison for one decade because he had posted an altered video clip on YouTube last year that was found defamatory to Thailand's royals. Former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra rejected a government offer of talks to end the revolts of his supporters.
